•Introduction•

​DESCRIPTION
Trip to London is a teaching sequence that allows us to work on many different topics related to a certain city. With this topic, we can work on the weather, transports, food.. Besides, they will be able to do a virtual itinerary that could be used if some day they travel to this city.
This first session will be dedicated to the introduction of the topic and the driving question.
To introduce the topic we will do an interactive activity that will also help us to create groups.
Each student will have a piece of an image and without showing it, they will have to find the partners that have the other pieces to complete the puzzle and each image will be a group.
Then, with the images they will have to guess where are we going to travel.
After doing this introductory activity, in their groups they will have to make a list of things they would need to travel to London. From their answers, we will give emphasis to the passport and its function, so all of them will personalize their own passport.

Finally, with the whole group, we will organize the flight from Barcelona to London, students will have to look on google earth how can we get from Barcelona to London, looking for the required transport, the flights, schedules, prices, etc.

ATTENTION TO DIVERSITY
During all the group activities, students will work in groups of 6. They will be heterogeneous and always the same, so as to make the students help the others that have more difficulties.
In the class there are one student with TEA and one with heavy dyslexia. They have an special dossier
